TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. The Mobile News Awards are open to firms and individuals within the UK and NI Mobile Communications and related industries.

2. The judging eligibility period runs from January 1 2022  to  January 31 2023. Any material that arises to support your entry outside this period will not be considered.

3. Entries must be made via the online submission process on this events’ website only.

4. Each category has a specific entry form, which can be found on online on the website. Entries will not be accepted by any other means. All questions on the category specific entry form should be answered. The text boxes are expandable, however once completed the combined total number of words entered into the text boxes should not exceed the number of words specified.
4a.  Companies may enter into more than one category as appropriate covered by one entry fee of £155 (excluding VAT). This entry fee is to help cover the direct expenses of judging your entry (eg entry site admin, judges expenses, judging venue hire etc)
4b.  Information supplied within the entry form will remain confidential. Mobile News reserve the right to refer to information supplied within the Awards Supplement or any other Awards related literature. Entrants may however mark sensitive parts of their entries “not for publication” provided such restrictions are not used unreasonably.
4c.  You may supply physical items such as handsets and products as supporting material at your own risk and delivery and collection expense.  Clark White Publications will take all reasonable steps to protect your submitted its from risk of fire, theft and loss.
4d. When the entrant is submitting work/materials which are not their own/they do not own the rights to, it is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that they have permission from the owner/3rd party to submit the entry and the owner/3rd party’s approval of the entry and any respective credits.

5. Mobile News accepts no responsibility for any incorrectly submitted information.

6. The judges reserve the right to re-categorise entries if they think another category would be more suitable. However, they will not routinely re-categorise incorrectly entered projects.

7. Any information submitted may be subject to verification.

8. The judges' decisions are final.

9. Companies are not allowed to enter any category that they are sponsoring.

10. All entries must be submitted by the deadline date of 20/02/2023. Entries can be edited at any time until the deadline date.

11. A fee of £155 (excluding VAT) must be paid which covers as many entries as you would like to submit.  No entries will be accepted without cleared payment of this fee.

12. Once submitted, entries are confirmed and non refundable.

13. Winners will be announced at the Mobile News Awards Ceremony

14. No correspondence will be interred into about the results


TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TABLE BOOKINGS

These are the terms and conditions for table bookings for the Mobile News Awards 2023 an event run by Clark White Publications Limited,(The Company / Organiser ) a company registered in England and Wales with Registration Number 2653326 at Scottish Provident House, 1st Floor, 80 College Road, Harrow HA1 1BQ. All other terms and conditions of business, including any that you may send to us when placing, renewing or paying for table bookings, are excluded. By submitting a booking request you acknowledge that you agree to the Terms and Conditions.

1. Bookings and Payment
1.1 Booking requests can be made by completing the booking form and submitting  to the Company. No booking is guaranteed until you receive written confirmation from The Company.
1.2 The Company will, subject to availability, send a confirmation email to you in respect of your booking request as soon as reasonably practicable. If there is no requested availability we will inform you that this is the case as soon as reasonably practicable. The Company reserves the right to refuse any bookings.
1.3 Bookings made until 12 February 2023 must be paid for within 14 days from the date of the invoice. Immediate payment is required for bookings made after 22 February 2023. Payment means cleared funds in The Company bank account. Payment can be made by bank transfer, by cheque or by credit card. Tickets will only be despatched on receiving cleared funds.

2. Refunds, Substitutions, and Changes to the Event
2.1 Any cancellation until 12 February 2023 will be entitled to a 50% refund. No refunds are available for cancellations made after 22 February 2023
2.2 Should individual guests on your table be unable to attend, you may nominate a substitute guest. Substitutions can be made for individual seats, at no extra charge. You must notify us by email with the name and job title of both the registered guests and the substitution guests.
2.3 The Company is not liable for loss due to cancellation of the Event caused by circumstances beyond The Company’s reasonable control (including, without limitation, police action, traffic incident, adverse weather conditions, Government edit. acts of God, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, military operations, acts of terrorism or threats of any such acts, any strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action and a pandemic, epidemic or other widespread illness). The Company will use its best efforts to hold the Event on a subsequent occasion for which all completed bookings will be valid. The Company may alter the advertised content, timing and/or location of the event at any time. The Company shall not be liable for any costs incurred by you as a consequence.

3. Liability
3.1 The Company’s aggregate liability to you shall be limited to the price paid by you in respect of the booking.
3.2 The Company shall not be liable to you for any loss of profit, damage to reputation or goodwill as a result of the booking.
3.3 You agree to indemnify The Company, its staff and affiliates and to hold us harmless to the fullest extent permitted by law, against all loss, costs, claims or expenses of any kind arising from any negligent act or omission by you (including your guests) during or otherwise in relation to your booking and/or your attendance at the event.

4. General
4.1 A person who is not a party to the Terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any provisions of these Terms.
4.2 You acknowledge and accept that we have the right to publicly announce our business relationship with you which shall include but not be limited to announcements on social media. Such announcements shall not be disparaging or otherwise adverse to your business.
4.3 You acknowledge and accept that we shall be entitled to charge interest on any outstanding balance owed to us accruing on a daily basis from the date that the invoice became due for payment.
4.4 You accept that security personnel appointed by The Company may eject from the event any person found to be of danger to the safety or enjoyment of others and/or any person without a valid ticket. In this case, no refund will be made.
4.5 Attendees agree to their images being used by The Company in their publications, online media including for the purposes of promotion by The Company.
4.6 No branding or promotional material may be brought into the venue or displayed without written permission from The Company.
